Are all of those red dots hot spots?

Do you have any info on any new fire starts from lightning strikes in the area?

I was aprehensive about seeing it today. It wasn't as bad as I had imagined it. Still, there were flames and it was indeed above the landing as well as at Hazard Creek.

Road from the cute cabin on the corner (Bohns) is closed to the landing.

Well, I have been on the boat, Sunday, Monday and today and each day it looks better and better. I haven't been able to open the infrared maps yet-I'll try again today.
it will be interesting to see what this fire does in the next few days especially with the warmer weather.

Level 3 evacuation goes in to effect tomorrow (Sunday) at 8 AM.

Most of the town will stay.
I will be leaving on the 12:30 boat.

I am glad because it will allow the fire fighters and locals to do what they need to do to prepare w/out worrying about the safety of guests and tourists.

They are eating at all 3 major entities-lunches provided by the bakery and maybe the ranch, dinners by the lodge, ranch and bakery and breakfast at the lodge, maybe also the ranch.

Attended the meeting in Stehekin tonight. We are still on level 1, which is surprising as buzz around town was that maybe we would be put on level 2 tonight or tomorrow. Seems to be a huge reduction in guests right now also.

I take pictures almost daily and just went through the timeline of my photos. We definitely enjoyed many days of clear skies and little thoughts of threat until this last week.

In the first meeting in Stehekin I recall them saying they were asked to protect "values" structures, property. And I kept wondering who asked them-
